Christine Ann Hartley passed away suddenly on the 22nd February 2006 at the age of 52yrs. Christine
worked for Romec, in London, as a Operations Manager. She had lived in Coulsdon for nearly two years
but lived in the Tunbridge Wells area for many years prior to this.
Christine has two daughters, Michelle(31) and Rebecca(29) and was Married to Christopher for nearly
18yrs. She also leaves behind her brother Pat, in Groombridge Kent, and Sister Kath in Skegness.
Christine also has two granddaughters, Ellie(8) and Leah(2).
My tribute to Christine, Mum, Nanny, Friend.
What a wonderful woman she was, and how sadly missed she will be.
Taken so quickly, but thankfully without suffering.
My mum was everything.
Loving, kind, thoughtful, funny, wise, warm, had a wicked sence of humor and was everyones best
friend.
She made you feel special, she was interested in you, she made you laugh, she hugged you when you
needed it and most of all she loved life.
Her grandchildren were everything to her and she to them. Keeping her memory alive for them is a
pleasure and i will continue to make her proud of the rest of my days.

I am going on a journey
To a place I long to go
A land that’s filled with angels
Where the peaceful valleys flow.
I have no need for luggage
So I plan to travel light
A first-class trip to heaven
It’s a non-returning flight.
There won’t be tears of sadness
Sweet blessings I will reap
A torch will burn eternal
And the soul doth never sleep.
I do not need an auto
There is no bus or train
My journey is predestined
And I won’t be back again.
No need for food or shelter
Everything I need is there
My home that lies in heaven
Is a joy beyond compare.
I am ready for my venture
Got the voucher in my hand
I’m bound for Zion glory
In that far-off distant land.
I am headed for that City
My flight was paid for me
To a land of peace and beauty
Just beyond the crystal sea.
I soon will have my ticket
There is no need to pack
On a one-way trip to heaven
And I won’t be coming back.
May the Stars carry your sadness away

And above all may silence make you strong.
